L’Arche meets in our narthex on the first Monday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
L’Arche was formed in France in 1964 by one person’s desire to serve God and the needs of people with severe disabilities. From its humble beginning, it has grown to over 160 communities across the world. The core values of compassion/generosity, competence, community and outward fruitfulness mesh well with the spirit of Grace Lutheran.
Since the Fall of 2023, we have met monthly to carry our initial inspiration forward utilizing the guidance of l’Arche International and regular weekly strategy / planning sessions with Pastor Barker. Each monthly meeting includes a time of welcoming, prayer, films about l’Arche and time for casual conversation and fellowship.
