About sixty members of Congregations United to Serve Humanity joined with the community at Grace Wednesday evening to lift up the family of Dakari Weldon in prayer.
Our five-year-old was killed in a gunfire accident Monday afternoon at his home next door to the church.
Thank you to all members who donated diapers following the last two requests. We are giving you a break as we use two large donations from churches in our Synod. Both churches held drives during Lent and the beginning of Easter. Thanks go to first-time donators from Grace Lutheran in Thiensville, (both the drive leader and the Pastor were at Synod Assembly on June 1 so I could thank them in person) and thanks to the members of Gloria Dei Lutheran in Menomonee Falls for their continued support and prayers (their pastor was at Synod Assembly, too).
However, if you are still bringing home your groceries in plastic shopping bags, we would be happy to help you recycle them at Infant Moses. You could bring them with you when you come to church.
Thanks from the Infant Moses Ministry Team.
Strange visitors from the south showed up on Grace’s front lawn Tuesday morning!
